In order to evaluate the MCS Pandora dyeing machines, Tibites Srl, who uses eight models for their cotton tubular knits, was approached for an opinion. Reported advantages include: water and energy savings, easy fabric circulation, quick unloading, absolute protection of fabric surfaces, ease in washing at recipe turnover, and shorter dyeing time with direct dyes. The drawbacks when compared with conventional ranges: stretching when fabrics are raised out of bath liquor with some weaves at high speeds, creases produced on stiffer woven or knit fabrics, and little conformity with liquor ratios higher than 1:8.
