Due to the environmetnal hazards resulting from dissolving methods for cellulose, xanathate, and carbamate, several aqueous solutions were tested and compared. Viscose, modal, regenerated cellulose carbamate, and polynosic fibers were dyed and used in fabrics. Wrinkle-resistance, abrasion, and fireproofing properties of the fabrics were also tested.
