The use of computers in managing quality control is particularly important to the batch-type piece dyeing process, thus saving the finisher time and labor costs. Microprocessor controlled systems for dye preparation, liqur distribution, and coating include: the Datex 2000 for determining the quantity of chemicals to be dispersed; the Pleva AF 310 microwave moisture pick up mtering system: and the AS 120 metering system for control in sizing.
