Pegg-Whiteley's Multiflow pressurized dyeing machine was developed for dye ratios from 1:5 to 1:12. The machine has an extra large diameter kier with narrow compartments for free running fabric and minimal surface friction. The dyeing vessel is self-pressurized with an air cushion above the dye enabling temperatures up to 140 degrees centigrade with safety. The fabric reel is driven by a variable speed motor with an audible warning for stopping. Water metering is automatic for accurate and reproducible dye-to-fabric ratio.
