The increasing interest in making the textile industry less harmful to the environment has resulted in the VH-Tric-O-Steam, a continuous cotton fabric dyeing machine built by Danish machine builder Vald Henrikson. The machine reduces water consumption by 20 percent compared to the traditional exhaust methods and produces no shade variations regardless of capacity. Henrikson's machine recently won the Danish Environment Prize for Cleaner Technology.
