A technique for the impregnation of brown kerchief cotton fabrics that facilitates an intensive green coloration and improves wearability characteristics is described. Coloration is attained by means of a synthesis of mineral pigments in the thread. Subsequent paraffin-stearin treatment with the fixing of aluminum to sulfate waterproofs the fabric.
