Since the beginning of 1989, Datacolor color management systems have been installed in Tootal Thred's main manufacturing dyehouses. The Tootal Group supplies thread from manufacturing units in more than twenty countries to customers in over sixty countries. The strategy of the company has been to produce gray thread in such low-cost areas as the Far East and to establish a worldwide network of distribution, dyeing, finishing, and marketing. The marketing division has set up color specifications and standards by implementing its own international shade library based on 180 standard colors.
