MAGEBA's single end dyeing machines operate at speeds of up to 30 meters per minute. The single tape spiral feeder and guiding system in the fixation cabinet holds 120 meters of tape. Single end dyeing machines save water and energy because the machines run longer on the same shade and the wash baths do not need refilling as often. The wash baths feature two baths with five nips in between with a fresh water spray in front of every nip roll. Teflon coated baths, plastic bearing housing, and exchangeable baths reduce maintenance and cleaning. Other machine features include maintenance and cleaning. Other machine features include the EZ-J feeder unit and ultrasonic dyeing and washing. An appendix describes the improved dye yields that result from the use of ultrasound in dyeing.
