Nippon Kayaku Company Limited introduced two classes of dyes for mixed fibers. The Kayalon React group of reactive dyes does not require alkali and performs well at high temperatures and at neutral pH. Kayacryl ED disperse cationic dyes can be used in a single phase in one vat, with obvious advantages in terms of time and handling. Kayacryl ED dyes disperse easily in warm water, do not contaminate the machinery, impose only a light anionic load, and do not require retardants. Product names for Nippon's red, yellow, and blue dyes are available from For. Tex. Srl.
