Biancalani's AIRO kier fabric softening, drying, and washing machine is sealed to ease the pressure/negative pressure balance between the air blown in and sucked out for more efficient air transport and absolute process repeatability. Rotating the kier into a more horizontal position increases the suirface available for fabric folding along each channel, which increases channel and loading capacity. A reduced upward curve at the front of the kier and a smaller distance between the bottom line of the kier and the venturi inlet reduce processing tension. Replacing butterfly valves with fan speed adjustment to control air flow increases energy efficiency.
