Tests evaluated the washfastness, lightfastness, and colorfastness to hot pressing of acid dyed wool fiber and yarn samples from the UAS breed of sheep. Both fiber and yarn samples showed very good washfastness. Fiber and yarn sample lightfastness ranged from poor to excellent. and yarn samples, whereas the blue dye showed poor lightfastness in both fiber and yarn samples. Both red and blue dyes showed excellent fastness to hot pressing. 7 refs.
