The application of formamidine sulphinic acid in the textile industry (German) (Anwendung der formamidinsulfinsaure in der Textilindurstrie)

Various possibilities for the application of formamidine sulphinic acid are reported in this article. The following fields of application in the textile industry are described in particular: the cleaning of dyeing machines and stripping of faulty dyeings, the production of fast dyeings with vat and sulphur dyes, the reductive bleaching of protein fibres, the reductive aftercleaning of polyester/polyurethane, discharge printing, 2-phase printing and the jeans bleach.
