Emil Muhlmann GmbH, Germany, has developed a new dyeing centrifuge under the name of Centri-Dye, which enables dyeing, bleaching, washing, finishing and centrifuging to be carried out in one machine. The centrifuge can be used for treating loose fibre or flock and yarn hanks. Most of the fibres currently used can be dyed by this process, and considerable savings can be made in water, dyes, auxiliaries and energy.
