The Vacu-Matic systems adapts to the dyeing process at different phases; either during the dyeing itself or during bleaching and washing. The system incorporates a bath tank divided by a well with a vacuum slot installed on the top, the tank can therefore be operated as though it were two separate tanks. In a washing configuration the fabric enters the first tank, goes over the vacuum slot removing most of the water and then into the second tank for a final wash. For dyeing the tanks are interconnected with the same solution, and the vacuum slot will force dye penetration into the fibre of the fabric. Unloading is additional use of Vacu-Matic.
