Aquafil of Italy have developed the Alto Chroma system for solution dyed PA BCF for textile floorcoverings. In developing the yarn system, work has focused on three different areas: stabilizers, the cross section and the polymeric matrix. These in turn affect color retention, bleach resistance, stability to deformation and resistance to soiling.
