Then's Airflow AFS dyeing machine features injection-free moist air and air stream fabric transport. Dyes, dyeing assistants, and other chemicals are dissolved in the processing liquor and enter the air stream for optimal fiber penetration and dye-fabric interchange. Although not required for fabric transport, dyeing liquor can be drained at temperatures above 100 degrees centigrade, which reduces processing time, simplifies oligomer removal, and improves colorfastness. A continuous washing out method keeps the drain valve open during rinsing. Efficient fabric-liquor interchange reduces rinsing times. The system lowers the salt content of reactive dyeing wastewater by more than one-third and minimizes the need for defoaming agents.
