Higher demand for right first time and Just in Time production has increased the need for versatile fabric dyeing machines that operate on a batch rather than continuous basis. Many manufacturers are offering jet dyeing machines with soft flow, overflow, long tube, and round jets. Jig dyeing machines for light weight manmade fabrics feature faster speeds, superior tension control systems, and twin troughs with spray and vacuum slot high speed wash-off and rinse systems. Continuous fabric dyeing ranges for pad steam, pad high temperature steam have been redesigned to meet market demands for shorter run lengths. Developments in dye chemistry are targeting batch dyeing processes by offering high levels of reproducibility and washfastness in bleach activated detergent systems and wet alkaline fading in light.
