Colour AIXperts GmbH's color matching system consists of the SpAIXscan camera with 16 color filters, SpAIXsoft color matching software, and SpAIXview reproduction system. The system provides accurate digital image capture, transfer, and reproduction for the textile industry and accurate online color communication between internet and intranet users. SpAIXscan and SpAIXview systems can be combined with computer aided design programs to generate virtual designs on screen. Simulated fabric designs using the multispectral color data from the fabric designs using the multispectral color data from the yarns eliminates manual processing and recoloring of virtual or digital fabric samples. The SpAIXscan system records 16 color extracts of each image using 16 narrow band windows that account for all relevant spectral light components. It captures images with up to 6 million spectral colors.
