Multi-Basket Approach to Relaxed Drying.

Biancalani's Spyra continuous drying and softening machine combines air fabric transport and tumble drying. A Teflon coated motorized winch transports the fabric rope into the first ejector tube, and a restraint grid guides the fabric into the first perforated drum. A control panel sets fabric induction speed, the number and speed of drum revolutions, and the fabric quantity inside the drums. A drum diameter of 1 meter ensures natural consolidation of the processed fabric. Air transport in the Venturi tube upstream of each operating basket prepares the fabric for preventive leveling of heat and humidity, which facilitates the penetration of liquor into the fabric structure. Drying, stabilization, and swelling occur gradually from basket to basket. Multiple baskets of 180 centimeter lengths reduce knotting. The machine finishes knit, woven, fleece, pile, and imitation fur fabrics.
