Sperotto Rimar's Nova 220/600 solvent scouring machine processes warp knit elastic fabrics, circular knit elastic and nonelastic fabrics, and fabrics in open width or tubular form. The machine eliminates hard curling of edges during upon width fabric processing and permits lengthwise shrinkage of up to 25 percent for nylon/elastane blend single jersey fabrics. The company's Therma heat setting machine for tubular knit fabrics features fabric transport via positive drive that eliminates elongation, tubular width control without side edge impingement, and efficient and uniform heat transfer on both fabric sides. Its Santaspread shrinking machine for open width and tubular fabrics features a steam heated steel cylinder, continuous felt belt, fabric induction element, and counter roll for belt guiding and fabric feeding. A second compacting passage through the machine increases shrinkage by 25-30 percent.
