The sheer complexity of today’s production processes means that a single system supplier can never satisfy all the requirements of a modern textile finishing plant. Integration is one solution here, and should not only help to avoid repetition, but should also enable experience gathered on a daily basis to be incorporated into the recipe and processing structure simply and effectively, sand also ensure that all the systems involved are immediately and automatically available. The new integration concept is based on Datacolor’s ITMProcess production recipe management system. The objective is to produce the most effective solutions from a single standard, capable of offering functions with added value to upstream or downstream systems, which they would not have without integration. The degree of complexity for the user should also be reduced.
