Fastness characteristics on natural and direct dyes applied on fabrics

The study investigated the effect of melanuine formaldehyde Resin and Lacrylic Resin as well as mordants on the colour fastness characteristics of natural and direct dyes. Changes brought about in the tone of shade after these treatments and after soaping were also studied, Wool and cotton samples were used. The results are presented in tabular form.
