The article summarizes the presentation made at the SDCANZ Symposium held in Melbourne recently by Gerry Gough of Bayer AG. The ERP System is a new enzymatic rinse process for reactive dyeings which is claimed to save water, time, energy and/or improve fastness. The system is targeted at dark shades, especially those based on Black 5. An example of the method is presented.
