Utilization of supercritical carbon dioxide for textile fabrics (Romanian) (Utilizarea dioxidului de carbon suprecritic in finisarea materialelor textile)

In this paper there are presented the possibilities of using the carbon dioxide for textile chemical finishing treatments. The usage of carbon dioxide is recommended from the environmental and toxicologic standpoints; the carbon dioxide I “clean” and it can be found in large quantities. In the first part of this paper you can find a definition of the critical and supercritical phase. It is presented the scheme of a plant and its usage in the dyeing process. There are presented the advantages and disadvantages of supercritical carbon dioxide usage in the dyeing process in comparison with the conventional dyeing in aqueous medium. In the end there are presented other possibilities to use the carbon dioxide in textile chemical finishing.
