Number 14 in this series deals with dyeing machinery of many types from several countries and starts with sample dyeing machinery. These machines in general reproduce the characteristics of production models and can be scaled up simply to provide full-scale production variants. However sample machines themselves may actually be used as production machines where small batch production is desired and consequently form an important addition to dye house machinery. A comprehensive illustrated list of dye sample machines from around the world is found on pages 63-64. The list includes features of all listed machines. Most of the listed machines are described, some with pictures, and technical specifications are included for some noteworthy machines.
