The Enviroproof system from Petrie Group Ltd, UK, is designed to minimise effluent contamination in mothproofing carpet yarn. It reduces manual handling of the chemical, uses automated liquor preparation and computer monitored application. The installation operates with a much smaller process liquor volume than a conventional long bowl.
