Bioneem is derived from neem oil obtained from the seeds of the neem tree. Azadirachtine in the neem seed oil prevents the growth, development, and reproduction of insects but does not affect mammals. Salinine in the oil is an effective insect repellent. Bioneem is suitable for finishing natural and manmade fabrics and their blends and provides protection for several years. Applying BioNeem finishes involves spraying the fabric during batching and at the end of the finishing process. 1 ref.
