Sandler has developed a composite nonwoven for use in the manufacture of disposable, protective work clothing. The product consists of three layers. The inner layer is hydrophilic to absorb moisture from the body. The central layer is a filter nonwoven that assists in maintaining a moisture balance. The outer layer is a water repellent, tear resistant nonwoven. Another new product from Sandler is a multi-ply composite with a printed electroconductive grid for use in the manufacture of protective work clothing in which a reduction in static electricity is required.
