Dover's SteadyView web tension indicator is microprocessor based and is easy to connect to any of Dover's tension transducers. The SteadyView takes the siganl produced by the transducers and displays actual web tension on a Hewlett-Packard LED display. The SteadyView can be configured to display tension in a variety of measurement units, such as pounds, PLI, or metric units. The setup and calibration procedures are simple. The SteadyView features small space requiremtns. its own mounting stand, low cost, high accuracy and measurement repeatability, easy readability, output voltage of 0-10 volts, direct readout of tension in pounds, ounces, PLI, newtions, and grams, and an innovative combination of analog digital circuitry.
