Various methods for controlling fibre feed to a needle punching machine are discussed. Brief details are given of the Asselin DCIN device for consolidating and feeding the web. It enables the fibre mass to befed to the needles between two forwarding cloths. It is also fed up to a distance of 11mm from the first row of needles across 100％ of the web width between a moving and an adjustable clamp.
