One of the components of this nonwoven fabric is a voluminous pile of curled fibres or filaments and the other component is a supporting nonwoven fabric bearing or containing fibres which may be reactivated by heating into an adhesive without losing their fibrous structure. The curled pile fibres or filaments are bonded to the surface of the supporting nonwoven fabric, the reactivated adhesive fibres of which constitute an adhesive. IPC D04H.
