Fleissner has supplied more than 50 lines throughout the world for felts based on spunbondeds or staple fibre constructions. Thermal bonding and heat setting on a Fleissner perforated drum line with flow-through heated-air system is described. Foam impregnation ensures better binder distribution and also leads to energy savings. The High-Tech through-air drum provides increased dryer output and a reduced curing period.
