An analysis of the title market in Brazil shows that this market can be divided into the surgical and general health-care sectors - the latter being the dominant one - and is represented by only two nonwoven technologies -spun-bonded and bonded-fibre fabrics. It is forecast that polypropylene spunbondeds should overtake bonded-fibre polyester and viscose rayon fabrics in the next few years.
