A method of continously processing cotton fibres to produce clean and blended cotton fibres comprises: opening the fibre bales; bleanding the fibres and delivering them to a fibre preparation station where they are further blended, cleaned of large paricles, and heated; delivering the fibres to a pre-cleaning station where they are cooled, blended, further cleaned, and reheated; delivering the fibres to a primary cleaning and web forming station where they are cooled, further blended, further cleaned, and formed into a web; and delivering the web to a further processing station where the is further treated and formed into a finished product as a cleaned cotton web.
