The use of stitch-bonded linen fabrics in suits and other forms of outerwear is investigated. The fabrics have good air permeability and sorption properties. Lightweight fabrics are suitable for summer and leisure garments. Heavier fabrics are useful in cooler weather. Their thermal properties are enhanced by raising. The fabrics are produced from short-staple flax. The abrasion resistance and pill resistance of outerwear produced from these fabrics is high. Colourfastness is also high, but ironing above 200℃ is not recommended.
