The effect of the title process variables on the bond between woven polyester fabrics from filament yarn and plastic/metal films is examined in this research report. The overall trend is for the bond strength to increase with a reduction in speed and an increase in pressure. There is a first relationship between the separating force and the stiffness of the laminates. These were produced on a laboratory calendering machine.
