International Paper Co. have created a composite nonwoven fabric that presents a cellulosic fibre face to the recording medium on a computer diskette. The company says that the fabric offers superior wiping and hygroscopic dimensional stability combined with very los debris characteristics. This article describes the construction of the disk and how these properties are acheived.
