The Textiles and Nonwovens Development Center (TANDEC) and Cotton Incorporated have developed and patented cotton faced nonwovens. The cotton is on one or both sides of a core structure in which the cotton varies from 41-75％. The fabrics exhibit minimal linting characteristics and would be suitable as medical isolation gowns, head cover and shoe covers, bed sheets and pillow cases.
