Dr Ernst Fehrer AG, who invented aerodynamic web forming in the late sixties, now offer the K12 high-loft web former. Following a review of the development of the design of aerodynamic web formers since their first introduction, the operation and features of the K12 are described. General applications for the machine include upholstery, bedding, filtration, thermal insulation and automotice with new applications in cosmetic make-up pads and 3-D webs.
