More and more converters of nonwovens and composite materials use ultrasonics. This technology allows high energy speeds, reduces the consumption of energy and eliminates consumables. Ultrasonics also allows material combinations, which so far only have been possible with glue. The main users of this technology are manufacturers of filter fabrics, protective apparel, hygiene products and wound coverings.
