Because of the large variety of nonwoven binding products on the market, which are often used as mixtures, and the consequent wide range of variations or achievable effects and quality characteristics, the binding analysis is of interest for the incoming goods inspection and final checkout (quality assurance), for the assessment of interesting new developments (competitive products) and for the rejection of unjustified claims (product identification).
