The OptoLine HS inspection system for nonwoven fabrics offers online zonal, uninterrupted monitoring of the production process. Integrated evaluation electronics make each camera a self sufficient inspection system. Up to 15 cameras can be connected to a single computer with a CAN bus. The cameras transfer data to the computer only when a fault is detected. A lighting system oriented to the parameters being tested allows the cameras to detect contrast differences. The OptoLine HS detects holes, grease spots, soiling, thin places, and thick places. The computer monitor displays faults and fault parameters and allocates faults into 15 different classes.
