Mambretti Incorporated's Hygenico nonwoven fabric insert for protective helmets increases the protective surface of the forehead, eyes, and neck areas. Key advantages include soft contact with the skin; good sweat absorption; thermoinsulating properties; and protection from dust, pigments, fumes, and other airborne pollutants. In addition, it is easily attached to existing helmet configurations. The company plants to market this product on a small scale in highly industrialized countries.
