This article reports on the recently-held Drylaid Nonwovens Seminar, organised by the UK's Nonwovens Network and held in Wakefield, Yorkshire, UK. The report summarises the current status of the nonwovens industry, looking at business restructuring, hydroentanglement and geotextiles. The article also reports that the Nonwovens Network has recently received a limited European grant towards establishing a website featuring all member companies.
