The 13th ITMA staged in Paris in June '99 managed to overcome poor expectations to emerge as a success for the industry. Machinery for producing technical textiles and nonwovens was well represented at the exhibition. The weaving sector is now recognising the need to offer models suitable for producing technical textiles.
