Forecasting the strength of needle fabrics from manmade fibres (Russian)

A study is made of four needled polyester fabrics produced from 0.82 tex fibres with areal densities of 300, 600, 900 and 1200 g/m2. The indications are that, at high fabric weights, it is possible to forecast the tensile properties, including the breaking strength.
