Rieter Perfojet's Perfobond 3000 spunbonding machine features a throughput of 300 kilograms per hour per meter per beam. The machine provides independent adjustment of quenching, stretching, laydown, and other processes for improved control of fiber and fabric properties and increased customization. A control system monitors, sets, and adjusts all critical process parameters every 0.5 meter in the cross direction to prevent local quality deviations. Operators can adjust fiber titer, fabric tensile strength, fabric elongation, and fabric formation properties during machine operation. A process stabilization system regulates air pressure, and a heat ventilation system regulates temperature to eliminate defects due to atmospheric changes.
