The International Textile Center's nonwoven fabric research program will develop protective fabrics for use against hazardous agents. The Center's purchased a Fehrer H1 technology needle loom, which has an innovative needle zone that improves the structural features of nonwoven fabrics, and a William Tatham Microfeed 2000 feed monitoring system. 4 refs.
