WRONZ's Non-wovens Group promotes the use of wool fibers in the manufacture of nonwoven fabrics for home furnishings, industrial, and agricultural applications. Products include thermal and acoustical insulation materials, filters, geotextiles, animal covers, wall coverings, drapes, blankets, and duvets. The group is developing fabrics suitable for apparel, upholstery, and carpets. WRONZ's bonding oven consolidates thick nonwoven woolen waddings for manufacturing environmentally friendly insulation materials. Woolen velour lift linings and wall coverings provide insulation and flame resistance. Needle punching and thermal bonding processes manufacture woolen bedding fabrics. Woolen nonwoven carpet tiles have good wear resistance.
