Cleanroom Wipers -- Dynamic Wiping Efficiency.

Cleanroom wipes have applications as pads and for cleaning equipment and removing spills. Some cleanroom wipes do not wipe dry even when their capacities are not exceeded because pressure retards sorption or forces liquid from the fabric. Experiments evaluated the sorption, particle removal ability, and dynamic wiping efficiency of nine cleanroom wipes with different fiber compositions, constructions, basis weights, and costs. Wipes with a dynamic wiping efficiency greater than 90 percent removed more particles than wipes having lower dynamic wiping effciencies.
